Many businesses throughout the economy have been forced to close their doors due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, which is forcing thousands of Australians out of jobs and into welfare. Mr Bolt said the government is making a “terrible mistake, destroying the jobs and businesses of hundreds of thousands of Australians”. “Politicians, pushed by many journalists, have panicked; they've overreacted by forcing shut so many businesses and have killed so many jobs”.
