- Her Majesty confirmed the Sussexes 'will spend time in Canada and the UK' but details were glaringly sparse
- Despite much interest over who will foot bill, The Globe and Mail says the issue is a deeper constitutional one
- It said: 'This country's unique monarchy, and its delicate yet essential place in our constitutional system, means that a royal resident – the prince is sixth in the line – is not something that Canada can allow'
