Weak pound helps sustain UK inflation

Telegraph
"Inflation remained unexpectedly above the Bank of England's target last month, with a weak pound helping to drive higher the cost of items like DVDs, clothing and televisions. ....The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) - the Government's preferred measure of inflation - fell to a 16-month low of 2.2pc from 2.3pc in April, but it was a smaller fall than City economists had predicted."
