83 Tons Of Fake Gold Bars: Gold Market Rocked By Massive China Counterfeiting Scandal

ZeroHedge
Yet one market which seemed stubbornly immune to any counterfeiting was that of physical gold in China, which was odd considering that over the past decade China had emerged as the world's biggest counterfeiter of various, mostly industrial metals used to secure bank loans, better known as "ghost collateral", and which adding insult to injury, would frequently  be rehypothecated meaning often several banks would have claims to the same (fake) asset.
All that is about to change with the discovery of what may be one of the biggest gold counterfeiting scandal in recent history. And yes, not only does it involve China, but it emerges from a city that has become synonymous for all that is scandalous about China: Wuhan itself.
With that preamble in mind, we introduce readers to Wuhan Kingold Jewelry Inc., a company which as the name implies was founded and operates out of Wuhan, and which describes itself on its website as "A Company with a Golden future."

“If you're going to submit to the mob and take a knee, then know precisely what you're supporting, it ain't about police brutality or racism, it's about clearly defined, extreme neo-marxist ideology.”

SkyNewsAustralia
Sky News host Rita Panahi says she wonders “whether the sportsmen, corporates and politicians taking a knee in the name of Black Lives Matter know that they are supporting a radical Marxist group with a set of political goals that the overwhelming majority of people find insane”. “To be fair the Black Lives Matter founders are pretty honest about their worldview and the group's extreme Left anti-capitalist goals.,” Ms Panahi said. “Here's a statement from the movement for black lives platform which BLM endorsed: “The interlinked systems of white supremacy, imperialism, capitalism and patriarchy shape the violence we face. As oppressed people living in the US, the belly of global empire, we are in a critical position to build the necessary connections for a global liberation movement. “Until we are able to overturn US imperialism, capitalism and white supremacy, our brothers and sisters around the world will continue to live in chains.”

The Covid Age Penalty

WSJ
By now it’s clear that people older than 65 are the most vulnerable to the novel coronavirus, and the age penalty is especially severe for the elderly with underlying health conditions."

If scientists are wrong about Covid, they must be held to account

The Times
The world has panicked and the British government has panicked worse than most. We scared ourselves and our fellow citizens out of rational thought. By losing our sense of proportion I submit we have crashed our economy, crashed our education system, our performing arts, our tourist and travel industry, and blighted the life chances of a whole generation. Before too long, commentators, politicians and scientists may be blushing at the mess we made of our national response to the coronavirus pandemic."

Kudlow: There’s 'No 2nd Coronavirus Spike, We're Not Shutting Down Economy'

.bucksexton.com
"But, if you look nationally, the important point is the rate of increase [in] new cases is between zero and one percent. It’s really flattened out, and with respect to fatalities, it's the same. It's actually lower than that. It’s like zero to a half [of] a percent," Kudlow continued."

Woke mobs wage war on the West

The Australian
The West is in the grip of a cultural revolution. Modern-day Red Guards have declared war on the past. The Black Lives Matter protests that erupted in response to the police killing of George Floyd have morphed with staggering speed into a frenzied assault on history, liberty and reason.  ..
In these dark, intemperate times, the sins of the father shall be visited upon the son. Now that even Gladstone is being targeted, surely the politicians and media people who foolishly cheered the mob who dragged down Colston in Bristol will reflect on what they have helped to unleash. Because it’s pretty clear now that this is not some righteous uprising against racism or the memorialisation of slave traders.
No, it has become a mad, undemocratic crusade against anything and anyone who offends the politically correct lobby.
These neo-Maoist efforts to cleanse the public square of people and ideas the woke elites disapprove of is a continuation of what has been happening in our universities and elsewhere in society for two decades now. This mad moment represents the bursting forth into public life of all the backward, illiberal, identitarian ideas that have been growing and festering in the academy."

Make no mistake – BLM is a radical neo-Marxist political movement

Telegraph
That is what Black Lives Matter is. Don’t take my word for it. Take theirs. The form of words that appears on most online posts connected to the group riffs on ‘the black radical tradition’ which counts among its past contributors the Black Panther Movement and Malcom X. BLM happily self-identifies as a neo-Marxist movement with various far left objectives, including defunding the police (an evolution of the Panther position of public open-carry to control the police), to dismantling capitalism and the patriarchal system, disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure, seeking reparations from slavery to redistribute wealth and via various offshoot appeals, to raise money to bail black prisoners awaiting trial. The notion of seizing control of the apportionment of capital, dismantling the frameworks of society and neutralising and undermining law enforcement are not just Marxist, but anarchic."

Adding up the damage Britain’s Covid-19 policies have caused

The Critic

First: who has the disease killed?  Covid-19 targets the old and the sick; this is not to be callous, but to understand the enemy and to provide context.  The average age of those dying of covid-19 in the UK is over 80, and fully a third are residents of care homes where average “stay” (a euphemism I’m afraid) was only 30 months from admission before the virus anyway.  ......

Second: who hasn’t it killed?  Parents, unions and nervy adults fret about the risk, but there is little need.  With no serious pre-existing conditions, the young-ish and healthy are far more likely to be hit by lightning (49 occurrences per annum in UK) than to die of covid-19 (33 in England under age 40, of which only 3 under the age of 19).  Panning out, among healthy under 60s (i.e. children and the vast majority of our working population), 253 people have died of covid-19 in English hospitals; this compares to 400 (non-suicide) drownings per year in the UK.  And taking all age-groups where there are no pre-existing conditions serious enough to be mentioned as contributary causes of death, covid-19 has taken about 2/3rds the lives that British roads do every year, and we wouldn’t think of outlawing driving, swimming or going outside in a storm."

School children under 15 have just a 3.5MILLION-to-one chance of dying from coronavirus and are more likely to be hit by lightning

Daily Mail

However, speaking about the new research into the risks posed to children by coronavirus, Prof Sir David Spiegelhalter, chairman of the University of Cambrdige's Winton Centre for Risk, said the threat posed was 'tiny'.

Ex-head of MI6 Sir Richard Dearlove says coronavirus 'is man-made' and was 'released by accident' - after seeing 'important' scientific report

Daily Mail
In the report, scientists claimed to have identified 'inserted sections placed on the Sars-CoV-2 Spike surface' which the virus uses to attach onto cells and observed they were 'significantly different from any Sars we have studied'.

Scientists RETRACT study that claimed hydroxychloroquine raised the risk of death for coronavirus patients

Daily Mail
  • Three authors of a study published in The Lancet suggesting the drug raised coronavirus patients'  risk of death retracted it Thursday
  • The Lancet published an 'expression of concern' over the study's data Tuesday
  • An outside review of the study was launched, but could not be completed because the data supplier refused to turn over its information
  • The study relied on data from health care data analytics company Surgisphere
  • It came after more than 120 leading scientists raised concerns about the data
  • They highlighted 10 major flaws, including that patient data was wrong
  • The Lancet published the research on May 22, which found the drug may be dangerous, causing heart problems of death. Major trials were halted as a result

Ex-MI6 boss says coronavirus likely engineered in Wuhan lab

Fox News
A former head of the British intelligence agency MI6 told The Telegraph's Planet Normal podcast that he believes the COVID-19 outbreak was engineered in a lab and spread through coincidence.
"I do think that this started as an accident," Sir Richard Dearlove told the Telegraph, citing a peer-reviewed paper by Professor Angus Dalgleish of St George's Hospital at the University of London, and the Norwegian virologist Birger Sorensen.
The authors said the virus had been doctored to bind to humans: "We are aware that these findings could have political significance and raise troubling questions."

I don’t need White people to apologise to me

@dominiquetaegon

I don’t need White people to apologise to me because of how ‘privileged’ they perceive themselves to be.

So please stop. It’s not heroic. It’s just cringe

Never kneel to the mob

@BuckSexton

Never kneel to the mob

Never apologize for wrongs you have not done

These are principles, and anyone who wants you to violate them seeks to debase you and control you

Nobel Prize Winner: Lockdowns Are "A Huge Mistake"

ZeroHedge
Michael Levitt is Professor of computer science and structural biology at Stanford Medical School and winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in chemistry.

Q: What’s your view of the lockdown policy that so many European countries and states in America have introduced?
A: I think it is a huge mistake. I think we need smart lockdowns. If we were to do this again, we would probably insist on face masks, hand sanitizers, and some kind of payment that did not involve touching right from the very beginning. This would slow down new outbreaks and I think that for example they found as I understand, that children, even if they’re infected, never infect adults, so why do we not have children at school? Why do we not have people working? England, France, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Holland, are all reaching levels of saturation that are going to be very, very close to herd immunity — So that’s a good thing. I think the policy of herd immunity is the right policy. I think Britain was on exactly the right track — before they were fed wrong numbers and they made a huge mistake.
I see the standout winners as Germany and Sweden. They didn’t practice too much lock down, they got enough people sick to get some herd immunity. The standout  losers are countries like Austria, Australia, Israel that actually had very very strict lockdowns but didn’t have many cases. So they have damaged their economies, caused massive social damage, damaged the educational year of their children, but not obtained any herd immunity. "

Now we know coronavirus is not a random killer, this one-size-fits-all lockdown must come to an end, writes Professor KAROL SIKORA

Daily Mail
Finally, we can say with confidence what many of us have suspected for weeks: not only is the end of the pandemic now in sight but also the people best-placed to recharge our economy have little to fear from it.
Thanks to definitive figures released yesterday by Public Health England, we know that Covid-19 is not a random killer, but one that targets specific groups – namely the old and those with pre-existing conditions such as diabetes or dementia.
The statistics are astounding: those aged over 80 are fully 70 times more likely to die of the disease than those under 40, while being morbidly obese increases your risk of dying by two and a half times. And fortunately the death rate among children is very low."

Surgisphere: governments and WHO changed Covid-19 policy based on suspect data from tiny US company

The Guardian
The Guardian’s investigation has found:
  • A search of publicly available material suggests several of Surgisphere’s employees have little or no data or scientific background. An employee listed as a science editor appears to be a science fiction author and fantasy artist. Another employee listed as a marketing executive is an adult model and events hostess.
  • The company’s LinkedIn page has fewer than 100 followers and last week listed just six employees. This was changed to three employees as of Wednesday.

At a press conference on Wednesday, the WHO announced it would resume its global trial of hydroxychloroquine, after its data safety monitoring committee found there was no increased risk of death for Covid patients taking it.

Civil Unrest Was Inevitable - Here's How It Will Be Exploited To Bring In Tyranny

ZeroHedge
.....But now, the situation has turned into something far beyond the killing of George Floyd. It has become a vehicle for agendas and not surprisingly the establishment benefits most; the very establishment the protesters think they are fighting against. ...The riots have been co-opted. Where whites and blacks, conservatives and liberals alike were mostly in agreement, now there are attempts at racial division. Why is the death of Floyd being presented as a race issue in the first place? Why is it not being presented as a psychopath issue?  There are psychopaths in every race in equal numbers, and this should be people's focus. In other words, psychopaths must be removed from society, whether they be police, politicians, business leaders, “caretakers”, etc.........
But with events like the death of George Floyd, the riots can be manipulated.
The rage of the masses can be directed on false issues of race and shallow left/right politics instead of being directed at corrupt government and the elites that created the economic mess we now see before us. The protests over George Floyd started out by raising questions on abuse of power by police, a legitimate cause.  Now they have been poisoned by race politics and outsiders seeking to create useful chaos.
Provocateurs have infiltrated the protests and are attempting to trigger indiscriminate violence. Pre-staged weapons such as piles of bricks, bottles and other items have been appearing magically in protest zones. Property is being destroyed by people not connected to the main protest groups. Odd occurrences are popping up everywhere."

Karl Friston: up to 80% not even susceptible to Covid-19

Unherd
Today, though, the presence of some level of prior resistance and immunity to Covid-19 is fast becoming accepted scientific fact. Results have just been published of a study suggesting that 40%-60% of people who have not been exposed to coronavirus have resistance at the T-cell level from other similar coronaviruses like the common cold.
Now, from the unlikely source of a prominent member of the “Independent SAGE committee”, the group set up by Sir David King to challenge government scientific advice and accused by some of being populated with Left-wing activists, comes a claim that the true portion of people who are not even susceptible to Covid-19 may be as high as 80%."
